appearance. Kita stands at a average five foot ten inches and he has a lean figure, his skin barely thick enough to conceal his bones. His hair drapes down the front of his face almost to his cheek bones partially obscuring his eyes with its lustrous black shaggy spikes. He has a softly angular face dominated by his large solid gray eyes which are accentuated by the dark tone of his lower eyelids. Kita has a straight nose and thin wide lips which are set low over his softly rounded chin. His skin is a soft lightly ashen color with a pale pallor to it, much like one would think of a ghost or corpse possessing. Kita has long thin articulate fingers and fairly large hands, his wrists and arms look long and thin because of this, he also has a narrow waist and chest which gives him a stringy appearance.
personality.
Kita is a quite reserved type of person often willing to site quietly and listen to others rather then speak. In fact Kita only talks when he knows other people are listening to him or when he feels the situation requires interjection, which is arguably why it can be days before Kita says much more then ten words to anybody. This in addition to his awkwardness at most any social situation, and blunt factual dialog often makes it hard for him to make friends. Because of the difficulty he faces with socializing Kita simply chooses to spend most of his time reading or playing around with bits of clay in quite places with few or no people.

other. Kita is the only surviving of the twin children of Ando and Takako Uchiha neither of whom where quite ready to be married or deal with the responsibility of children. Ando was an aspiring young ninja with hopes of joining anbu his wife was a gossipy socialite who enjoyed being the center of attention. Needless to say their relation ship was far from stable the two often at odds with each other. The difficulties at home weren’t helped by Takako being pregnant, one night after yet another of the twos many heated arguments Takako storm out of their home in the midst of a storm and was struck by a collapsing tree. Rushing form his home at the sound Ando found his injured wife and rushed her to the hospital. Though Takako was a strong and healthy woman she was also eight months pregnant and the injury put both her and her children’s lives a risk the medical ninja did all they could but in the end they knew there was only one hope for the three, deliver the infants and pray they and their mother survive. Unfortunately Kita was still dependent on his mothers chakura to survive though his sister was not, fearing for his life his body then reached out desperately drawing the Chakra it needed to survive from where ever it could though he succeeded in saving his own life this one act cost Kita dearly, for he had unknowingly killed twin sister Karin who was as much a part of his mind and soul as his blood was a part of his body. Kita was born crying pain from sisters death but what stopped his fathers heart was Kita's eyes Ando could not help but stair in disbelief his son had been born one spoke Sharingan. Watching as the doctor cleaned the blood from his crying sons ashen skin Ando stood his muscles and heart frozen in pain and fear as his mind deciphered what had transpired he was glad his wife was unconscious and in the few moments from when his son was born to when he was set in his arms Ando came to the most painful decision of his life; he would secret his son away and tell his wife that neither Kita nor Karin had survived, it would be easier for everyone that way. That night Ando snuck into the hospital taking his newborn son and leaving a false corpse identical to the child behind he then secretly spirited Kita out of Konaha to a nearby farming town where he left him in the care of a family of farmers that worked for the Uchiha clan. Ando however could not bring him self to fully abandon his own blood and against his more rational judgment left the small kunai shaped bracelet his wife had bought for him with the family, making them promise to hide it until the time was proper, so that someday perhaps his son could return to the clan on the bracelet was engraved only his name Kita Uchiha.
Though Kita was never told of his twin he grew up knowing that by his hand the life of the only person he had ever cared for was ended knowledge was as inescapable as the hollow feeling in his heart, and the dreams of the sister he had lost. Kita was raised as a farm worker and though he was well cared for Kita never truly recovered form the lingering traces of his touch with death his skin remind ashen, his body possessed a almost skeletal leanness and his lower eye lids grew dark while the air around him seemed to have a almost grave like chill. Growing up his foster parents where continually amazed at Kita's strength and endurance which seems super human when compared to his appearance, and though he was the strongest and fastest child in the town he was never truly accepted by the other children or anyone else for that matter, many of the adults where superstitious and saw Kita’s appearance as an Oni curse many of the children quickly noticed this and followed their parents lead. For his part Kita didn’t take much notice even around others he felt hollow and alone, the feeling where inescapable as his own heart beat. Kita’s only respite came from occupying his mind with other things, and being raised as a farmer it was not hard to find things to fill his time with. Though as with all things in time his work in the fields failed to occupy his thoughts leaving them to wander to places he had no wish to explore. To keep his mind from wandering Kita began to read every book he could lay his hands on and while not working in the fields he would often spend all his free time reading off in the middle of the small wood lands that bordered the edge of the village. By chance at the age of eight while he was wondering the woods near the town, having just finished the book his had borrowed from his parents on farming, he caught sight of a ninja team training in the woods standing silently he watched as they made curious hand gestures and was intrigued by the many odd and peculiar things that happened afterward. His interest perked Kita moved closer unnoticed though taking care not to get too close, he didn’t want to get caught in any area of any of the odd things they where doing. While he watched puzzled by these odd abilities, Kita couldn’t help by try and memorize the gestures unknowingly using his Sharringan, sitting down beside a small shrub Kita simply watched the three oddly dressed children. They couldn’t be more then five or six years older then him. Kita sat quietly unmoving till watching as the three practiced their odd art memorizing the many different sequences of odd hand signs until they left looking weary and drained by then moon had climbed nearly half way into the sky. Even after the three had departed Kita remained pondering them, they where all clearly part of a team of… each wore the same sort of jacket, knife boxes and head bands each bearing the same oddly stylized leaf made that quite apparent, but that was all he was sure of. It was not often Kita found something that puzzled him but these things where always welcome distractions, eventually Kita came to the conclusion that the only way to figure out what he had seen was to try it himself. In truth Kita expected to spend months toying around with the odd hand signs trying to figure out what they where supposed to achieve or to even begin to form a hypothesis how to make them work, he was in complete shock and confusion when he got it right on the first time, even more so when it was eerily natural like he had been doing it since birth without noticing. This raised many questions as well as concerns for Kita but provided no answers and unlike most puzzles Kita felt an unrelenting urgency to discover the answers behind this. Other then the fact he could memorize the intricate hand signs almost instantly, especially from a distance, that he could use them with such ease was worrying since it had been quite clear these skills took a great amount of practice and training to use it was far too odd that he a simple farmer could pick them up so easily. While Kita had no answer for why these odd talents came to him so easily he couldn’t help but feel an odd excitement what ever those children where practicing to become or do Kita couldn’t help but see himself join them as alien and unrealistic as it was that he could do so he still couldn’t shake the feeling no matter how much he tried to reason with it. As Kita slowly made his way home he pondered another piece of this odd puzzle that had presented it’s self these techniques he had seen broke many of the rules that until know had governed the function of the world how could a person simply dissolve into a swarm of flower petals, or spit exploding balls of fire and even so nothing can be done without energy being spent. To lift a rake and man must exert his arm to regain that strength he must eat, so what was it that allowed Kita to and the other odd children to do such amazing things? Where was that power coming from and how could he possibly be using it with out training or even the slightest idea what it was?
In the days that followed these questions continued to plague Kita until finally frustrated with his lack of answers Kita took his many questions to his foster parents, who where to say the least at as much a loss as Kita himself, next morning Kita woke up to any empty house they only information was a simple note on the down stairs table, “Went for supplies, should be back before the end of the week” this wasn’t the first time his parents had left to shop at another village but normally they didn’t leave so early or without telling him before hand another thing that nagged at him was that his parents had gone not two weeks ago, his foster parents would go to the larger town to the south to make purchases and sell excess produce maybe once every other month twice if it was a good harvest but the crops had just been planted. Still with his parents gone Kita had little time to worry about such things without others around he would have to tend the lands himself Kita simply figured he could wait for answers until they returned home however they never returned, it was their bad luck to become victims of Itachi's slaughter of the Uchiha complex. Unaware of this Kita simply continued to tend to the work of the farm and house hold, as months passed and no messages of his foster parents came it became apparent to him that his foster parents for what ever reason wouldn’t be returning Kita simply wished them the best in what ever befell them and continued to live and work at the farm. Even with his newfound responsibilities Kita couldn’t keep himself from obsessing over what he had discovered, though he made some progress in finding answers, having found the flow on energy from within his own body that seemed to be the power source used by the… what ever you called the stuff you did with those odd hand signals. Beyond that most of it was still a mystery not that he minded it trying to decipher the puzzle it kept his mind busy during the long days working in the fields and his nights where occupied practicing them, at least he was getting results there. Kita’s life changed little over the next four years save that he started to spend more time in town researching anything that may help him better understand these abilities, it was by chance during one such outing that he happened to over hear a man spinning a fantastic tale of a time he had seen a ninja battle to a small crowd in return for food and sake. As Kita sat listening to the mans story the things he described reminded Kita more and more of what he him self had seen, it didn’t take long for one of the local men to convince the crowd that the traveler was either crazy or lying and soon the people just left. However Kita waited and then when the others had their fill of heckling the man and wandered off he took the opportunity to speak with him, it was the only real lead he had found even if a large portion of it was exaggerated to make for a better story. It was as simple as supplying the man with a steady flow of sake to extract the remaining bits of useful information from him, and while he lacked any specific knowledge of the village the ninja where from or of their ‘ninjutsu’ Kita thought the exchange worth his time.
That evening Kita set about with preparations for his departure, he doubted many would take notice of his absence most tried their best to not take notice of him as it was anyway, as he went about arranging for the farms tending Kita found an odd letter in the root cellar a small letter addressed only to ‘My Son’ sealed with a small wax mark bearing a fan, not certain who the letter was for Kita simply took it with him deciding that should he happen by his foster parents he could then ask whom it was for. With the last lingering issues of the farm attended too Kita took his leave of the small village he had been raised in. Even though he lacked any real guide Kita was determined to become a ninja it was by dumb luck he happened by Gohi in the woods during his travels. Though the old man was undoubtedly unhinged, which was easily apparent as he seemed to believe Kita was a giant talking cricket, Kita found him interesting and lacking any leads in his endeavor he saw no harm in ask the odd old man about ninja. He was understandably skeptical when the old man told him he was a ninja, but when Gohi preformed a Bunshin no Jutsu Kita saw an opportunity he had no intention of passing up. Though it took him three weeks Kita was finally able to convince Gohi to train him in ninjutsu. For the next few years Gohi taught Kita the basics from running up trees to handling the many weapons and tools of the ninjas trade, though it only took Kita a little more then a year to learn these skills Gohi insisted on a endless cycle of repetitive training, often saying “Crickets have horrible memories if you want them to learn something you have to make then learn it a thousand times.” After three year Gohi seemed content that Kita had ‘finally’ learned the basics and was ready for the real training, but first he would have to go to a real ninja village and pass the genin exams so he bid his ‘favorite talking cricket’ luck and giving Kita directions sent him off to find a Konahagakure.
